stay home or leave???

for all of you out there who have already gone to college, would you recommend stayinig home or living on campus and why? I'm trying to decide if i want to leave or not. there are actually quite a few advantages to staying home. what are you feelings/regrets? thanks for your opinions!

hmm i would definately move away form my parents and into a flat... not on

then again now that i have been out of home for a while i would prefer to be
back home but meh i guess we all go trough that at some stage

It depends on what you want. Do your parents give you plenty of freedom and are willing to buy food and all that s***? That would save you a pretty penny. Only if you could stand living with them though . . .

save money live at home

I would say try dorming for one year, and if you don't like it, try to find an apartment. My oldest brother dormed for the first year, and then decided he hated it and got a nice apartment instead. Whereas my other brother thought he was going to hate dorming, and turns out he loves it. He met a lot of new people there that he wouldn't have met and spent as much time with if he had gotten an apartment.

I was in a dorm for the first year and now I have my own place, but if my parents lived near by I would definetly stay with them. I like them and you can still experience all college has to offer. In college you aren't home much anyway its really just a place to sleep
