Have you remember if the employees any non-profit organization like the Salvation Army would form unions to demend equal pay with --say General Motors?
If NO! How about our public employees? Are not our city, county, state and national NON-PROFTT entities?
Question! Why are the employees organized?

Why should government employees not unionize? They need to band together for rights and protections just like any other employees.

I've worked for one and currently work for a government and am a member of a union.

What are you trying to say? Employees of non-profits and governments are often unionized. Are you saying that unions are the reason for inflation?

On that note, you realize that inflation is the lowest its been in 50 years? We're actually in a period of deflation, or negative inflation - it's the first time this has happened since the mid-50s I believe.

It's obviously because their employees are in a union!

Oh, wait, no it's not. What a worthless comment.

I'd venture to say that most states, even the ones doing relatively well (not that there are actually any of those), have unionized employees.

Because New York and California are non-profits so they make no money to pay their employees from funds they DO NOT HAVE

"Itsobviously because their---"
A non-profit has no profits to pay what unions ask. Eventually, as in New York and California they go "broke"

"Oh wait ---" What comment is worthless?

"I'd venture to say that most states---have unionized employees"

They ALL have unionized employees and All, except Alaska, are in the red -- BECAUSE of the drain caused by union salaries, wages, and pensions.
Now Question? Are there any non-profit organizations existing with unionized employees?
