7 Day Waiting Period?

Why does Myspace now make new accounts wait seven days to post?

I can kinda understand the spam bot thing but has it really gotten THAT bad?

I mean was it discovered that 75% of internet population were spam bots and that's what this problem has been this whole time?

Yes, I know people (who play mobsters and other games) they have 3 or 4 hundred accounts. A little obsessive.. their email address are like "mobsterfan001 @yahoo. com""mobsterfan002 @yahoo. com"...and so on and so forth. And then they have a mysapce account for each of those. It's crazy.. myspace is HORRIBLE for spam.

i honestly did not think people still used myspace anymore.

In all honestly it looks like most people have ran from the net. =L
