Why does my avatar zoom in?

I made a file.gif using 3 photos of a cat. One photo full face with both eyes open. The other two with the right and then left eye closed. Putting all 3 together as a time lapsed gif file using Adobe ImageReady® to appear as though the cat was alternating blinking his right eye then his left eye. When I view the pic it looks normal. On the home page, after posting, the avatar zooms in to just the eye blinking, the back to the image with both eyes open, the to the left eye zoomed in, then back to both eyes open. Can anyone shed some light on this?

The system that makes thumbnails has trouble with animated gifs.

boobagins avatar seems to be working ok.

The frame optimization in your avatar is causing the problem. Since Boobagins' avatar doesn't have any areas that are the same between frames, there is no optimization. If I were to fix the problem, a different problem would crop up and transparent gifs would all turn black.
